We would like to thank all of the guests of this year’s Memex conference! The main topic this year was: The gift of attention.

Memex is one of the most important Berlin conferences on the subject of harmony between human and machine. We illuminate the determining role of today’s digital sphere using insights from psychology, business and art performances from contemporary artists.

As always, the memex this year on September 6th, 2019, included exciting talks and discussions and afterwards a cosy get-together – this time combined with the celebration of our 20th birthday!

As part of Memex 2019, we focused on the most important resource of our time – attention. We presented current studies, articles and analyses on advertising efficiency, media behaviour, marketing strategies and user behaviour that deal with the paradigm of positive attention control by consumers:

The presentations were accompanied by art performances. Catering has been be provided throughout the day. Thanks to a translator, our English-speaking guests had the opportunity to follow the program in English. A short boat trip on the Spree river and some cool drinks after the official program introduced the inofficial part of the event.
