Weimei Jiang

Director China – Research Consultant

Weimei Jiang has been working as a research consultant at eye square since 2017, she is a member of the Shopper Experience Unit, and as of 2021, the appointed Director of China Team, responsible for sales, project management, and client communication regarding business centered on the Chinese market.


She completed her bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Macao, and holds a master’s degree in sociology and political science from Freie Universität Berlin, with a strong focus on quantitative research methods.


Solid academic training provided her with both the confidence and competence for conducting market research at eye square. She has been providing valuable insights for clients across industries, with specialization in online survey design, programming with innovative technology implementation, and data analysis. She has also been an integral part of many qualitative research, especially UX focused studies.



  • Since 2017, she has participated as well as led many UX-focused projects for Tencent, one of China’s biggest IT companies, helping the client with better understanding of user experience in oversea markets, as well as facilitating their product optimization effort.


  • Her intercultural background is an asset when it comes to working with an international team. She has gained rich experience working in many global markets, conducted studies in Germany, China, the United States, the U.K., Saudi Arabia and Mexico.
