Understanding how children and young people perceive media

On May 22, 2025, our experts Isabella von Mengden and Stefan Schönherr had the special honor of participating in this year’s Kinderwelten Conference 2025 and presenting current analyses and research insights. The annual Kinderwelten conference is a virtual, media-oriented event where current research findings, studies, and analyses on the target group of children are presented.

This specialist conference helped to analyze more precisely the steadily growing media usage curve of children and adolescents over the years. It helped, among other things, to understand how much time children spend on media consumption, which devices they own, and how traditional media compare to other platforms.

Comparison of the advertising impact of screens

Under the title “Comparing the Advertising Effectiveness of Screens,” Isabella and Stefan presented our latest cutting-edge study. The experts demonstrated through the new study how advertising effectiveness is exerted on children across different platforms. During this period, they examined how 7–10-year-old viewers perceive content on the platforms YouTube, TOGGO TV, and the TOGGO App. Watch the entire presentation by our experts during the AddAlliance conference here!
