On February 24, 2026, the EHI Foundation and GS1 Germany will once again present the Science Award in Düsseldorf, recognizing outstanding young researchers and innovative start-ups whose work contributes to the retail and consumer goods industries.
The award honors scientific excellence and entrepreneurial spirit across three categories: Best Start-up, Best Dissertation, and Best Master’s Thesis.
With total prize money of €65,000, the Science Award continues to spotlight ideas that combine academic rigor with practical relevance for the industry.
